desktop wireless card
How do you tell if you can add a desktop wireless card? My wife tries to use her webcam with a netgear wireless 54g router and when she turns the camera on, it lasts about 15 seconds and causes the usb wireless to lose connection and start searching for a new channel. I was told to use a wireless desktop card because all dell junk is underpowered on the usb and it causes nothing but problems. I will not talk to the people in India anymore because it took two months to get them to authorize a new cd writer. I am on the I think they call it premium help because I bought this through the UP corporation.

You don't say which model computer you have, but if it has open PCI slots, then just get a PCI wireless network card and install it one of the open PCI slots.
