GX270 GhostCast USB Boot

I have created a USB Flash drive to boot ghostcast clients from but cannot get GX270 network drivers to load.  Has Broadcom drivers but need to configure for Intel Pro 1000.  Where can I go to read how to do this?  Thanks.

I remember reading in symantec's knowledgebase that they do not support Broadcom Gigabit card drivers in any version of ghost. The driver you need is located at http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/format.aspx?releaseid=R82410&c=us&l=en&s=gen&cs=

Be sure not to forget to put in the name of the driver file preceeded by a $ into ghost, otherwise it will not function.Look at one of the drivers set up by ghost for an example of this. I know this because I have faced the same problem before working in a computer lab with GX270's.

sorry the $ goes at the end not the begining. This is part of the reason to use ghost's preloaded files for an example. They don't mess up like I do.

Hey, thanks for the info.  You are absolutely right about the the USB boot client for ghost.  Not supported.  I abandoned that and used the 3COM Dynamic Boot software that came with our Ghost Console.  Booting off of the Nic.  Used ghost boot wizard to create network boot client, which loads from a tftp server during the pxe start up.  We just use removable media to boot in emergencies.

    Thanks again for the info.
