How do I? - networking growth

I currently have a D-Link 624 Wireless router connected to my Internet connection... All 4 wired ports on the unit are feeding additional computers and INET devices.  One of the outputs is wired to another room and connected to a computer there.. BUT in that same room, I need another wired port.. Is there anyway to split the connection in that room so I have 2 wired ports?  If so what equipment do I need?

You need a switch.  Here's an example (not necessarily the best price or best hardware):

Note that most 10/100 switches will have an "uplink" port.  This allows you to connect the switch to your router with standard ethernet cabling (as opposed to a cross-over cable).  Likewise, all 10/10/1000 switches should not require cross-over cables.

A device called a "hub" will also work.  They're not as efficient as switches, and frankly, I'd be surprised if anyone is still making them.

Likewise, if you have an extra router laying around (or if you find routers selling for cheaper than switches), they can almost always be configured to work as a basic switch.
