I need help with installing wireless
I bought my Dell computer in December 2002. Two months ago I set up a wireless network in my house and as my computer was too old it couldnt receive the wireless signal. So i talked to my friend who owns a hardware shop, he gave me this little Dell USB key and told me all I had to do was plug the USB Into my computer and my computer would automatically pick up the wireless signal. But this didnt work. I have looked what this thing he gave me on the internet up and it turns out to be a Dell Multi-Protocol Card that also hooks up printers wirelessly. When I plug the wireless receiver into my computer and look at the Device manager it says it's a "Cohiba 3887a rev1". What I need is a driver that I can download to allow this card work with my computer. Does anybody know what I need to download?

If this ("click here <ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed / replaced from this post by Dell>") is the wireless USB adapter you're referring to... I couldn't find any driver for it on Dell's download site.
I'm guessing the reason why, I had no luck finding a driver for the "Dell Wireless 3310 USB Printer Adapter" on Dell's download site, could be because it might only be intended to be used with only those specific Dell Printers.
I also did a search on goggle.com for a "Cohiba 3887" driver, which led me to this driver ("click here") and this driver ("click here").
I don't know if any of those drivers will do the trick... if not, then post the "Device ID" from the "Details tab" of that device's "Properties" in "Device Manager" (like "this thread" - easier to read if you log-out before clicking the link)...
Aloha,
