I've searched this forum now for about some time to try to find similarities/solutions to my problems but haven't really found what I was looking for/the solutions didn't help.

 

My wireless network runs fine (excellent signal) for about 50-120 minutes (the hilarious thing is that it is almost always at 50 mins that it disconnects) but then it disconnects from the internet. The first thing you notice it on is my IC-login that automatically connects to my ISP to keep my connection alive (it turns red = failure to login). Second you cannot browse the web.. third all your programs like mIRC and MSN time out one by one..

To get the connection back (for another 50 mins of fun) all I have to do is to restart the i9100.

I have another comp connected to the network with a wire and the problem has never appeared on that computer.

 

I HAVE turned off the 802.1x auth (as far as I know it has never been on)

I HAVE updated to the latest modem drivers (Dell Wireless 1350 WLAN Mini-PCI Card - 3.100.35.0, 2004-11-27, Broadcom)

I HAVE updated the firmware drivers to my wireless AP (D-Link DWL2100AP) 

 

The 9100 has been working fine but now it is always like this. I cannot pin-point the exact time when it started to act like this but I know it was after the XP2 update.

I do know, through empiric research, that if the other computer is on (the NONE-WIRELESS one) the i9100 network will go down faster, same thing if I use P2P programs (on the i9100).

 

I'm a happy Dell owner though a bit frustrated and I'm soon on the end of my 50 minutes so I better hurry and send this away.
