I own a Inspiron 8600 with a dell true mobile 1300 WLAN 802.11b/g nic running XP Pro SP1. What I would like to do is always tell the pc to sue the wired connection is present over the wireless. The Dell's with Intel wireless cards have a software option to configure tis behavior, but I cannot find the same options in the dell stuff. Does the latop do this by defualt? From what I ahve seen, it uses the wireless if present over the wired lan, which seems silly. If I am bothering to plug it in, that must mean I want the 100g speed =)
Yes, I know you can just disable the wireless NIC, but that's annoying =)
