When I insert the SIM card, nothing happens! Do i need to install any driver (even i cant find the name of the device for the sim card), or maybe any utility ?
For the SIM card to work your computer should have a WWAN card installed. If you ordered a WWAN card with/for your computer, check if the WWAN driver is installed by looking in the Device Manager. To check in the Device Manager:
Press and hold the Windows Key and then press the R key on the keyboard to launch Run Dialog Box.
Type “devmgmt.msc” and hit “Enter”.
Expand “Network adapters” and check what device is listed here. If the WWAN card is not listed here, expand the “Other devices” and check. See the image below:
If you have difficulty finding the drivers for the WWAN card:
Follow the above 3 steps and Double click the listed WWAN Card.
Click the “Details” tab.
Select Device Instance Path or Device Instance Id (whichever is available for your version of Windows) from the drop down box.
Make a note of the Device Instance Path or Device Instance ID and add this in your reply.
