I have just reinstalled W7 and dell drivers. Everything seems to be working OK, but when I press F2, it turns wifi on and off as expected but it doesn't show anything on the screen. It used to toggle between an icon showing wifi on and wifi off. Also when I press F3, it doesn't show power status.
Its not the biggest issue, but it would be handy to be able to see when it is on and when it is off.
It appears that the wireless driver is installed but the Dell 'quickset utility' is not. Please follow the steps listed below to install the application: - Click http://dell.to/Qnizfs to access the 'Drivers and Downloads' section on Dell support website - Enter 'Service Tag' of your laptop to find drivers for download - Expand category 'Application' - Download and install 'quickset application' - Restart the laptop and try again
Hope this helps. Do reply if you have any further questions. I would be glad to assist.
You may install the 'Dell Webcam Central' application from the following link: http://dell.to/TjXOwa Click 'Download file' and install it as per the on-screen instructions.
Hope this helps. Do reply if you have any further questions. Glad to assist.
