Wifi
Hi,
I am using Dell Laptop , im trying to connect my Wireless Netgear modem . Here i am unable view my Modem under "connectionavailable" but i can view other Wifi connections.
Any setting to be changed in Laptop or Modem? Because i can see other wifi connections in Laptop.
But i can use wifi with other laptop(HP) and even thru my Mobile. Only issue is with my Dell laptop
Any sugestions?

Hi,
The first thing that comes to mind is that you should try upgrading the firmware on the modem. You didn't mention which model of Netgear modems you have. I did a quick google search but what I found was particular to each specific model so I don't want to link my results.
I recommend you google "netgear XXX firmware update" (replacing the XXX with the model number) and then follow the links to Netgear's support pages. They will give you instructions on how to update the firmware and these days it's usually pretty straight forward.
You may also want to check out our Dell Networking and Wireless Support Center. There are some other articles in there that you may find useful.
Let us know if the firmware update does the trick or not.
