What is the next step in the instructions?  It's kind of hard to help you without knowing what you have doen up to this point.  Could you possibly supply a few details?

Whether you can ping the route or not?Or can you find the lan card in the device manage?

Give us the details of your network like the model number of your 2wire, OS, the type of connection (if your system is connected to the 2wire via wireless, ethernet (yellow cable), or USB blue cable, the status of the link lights on the 2wire.

 

Try to reconfigure your 2wire gateway by accessing 192.168.1.254 or 172.16.0.1 through a web browser then click on "run system setup wizard".
