Wireless File Transfer Setup

Help!  This is my first time setting up a network, let alone wireless.
I have a Gateway P3 that has all of my user settings, music, pictures, and other assorted files that I want to transfer to my new Dell XPS410.
I currently connect to the internet using a cable modem.
The modem is ethernet wired to a Netgear WGR614, which in turn is ethernet wired LAN1 to the XPS410.  Obviously I'm online, so I have a good internet connection there.

I installed a Linksys wireless  WMP54G PCI card in the Gateway P3 after running the installation software.  I do appear to be connecting to the internet on this pc, as I am able to hit my homepage website when opening Internet Explorer.

I am also running McAfee Virus and Firewalls on both PC's.
I also installed the Netgear provided McAfee Wireless Networking Security software on both pc's.

I set the hard drives on the Gateway that I want to be able to share with the Dell up to be shared drives on the network.

I am unable to get the network to recognize this file sharing amongst the two pc's.

My Network places on the XPS show as follows:
My ISP: Disconnected, Firewalled, WAN miniport (This is because I'm not using dialup, right?)
Internet Connection: Connected
LAN or high speed Internet: Connected, Firewalled, Intel 82566DC Gigabit network  (File sharing is checked under properties.)

I really need to get this network up and running so I can start transferring these files!

Much appreciated.
