Wireless internet connection drops

In my home network I connect to the internet via a Comcast broadband modem and my Dell Desktop's Truemobile 2300 router. I have a 2nd desktop connected via wireless USB connection. As a third connection I have a Dell laptop connected via an internal Intel Pro wireless card. I am having problems retaining a connection with the laptop. It connects then drops connection after roughly 5 minutes. That does not happen with the Gateway desktop connected wirelessly via USB. Everything had been working fine until a couple days ago. I suspect downloading Windows SP2 to my main desktop could be the culprit.

Try using SP2's wireless utility and not the software that came with the card -- uninstall it if necessary.  Also, make sure you select the option to only connect to an infrastructure network (otherwise the card may be trying to connect to another client on your network).  You can also try disabling authentication under that tab as well.
