XP keeps deleting Shared Printer
I have a Linksys WPS54G connected to a HP PSC 1210v.
After the initial setup everyting was fine. Then, laptop was turned off at night. Next day it can't find the printer and I have to do the whole install all over again. However, my desktop can be turned off and it will find the printer again. I can get the laptop to find the printer by connecting it directly to the laptop. But, after I disconnect it will want to delete the printer. As before, my dekstop is OK with a printer being turned off or disconnected. It just lists the printer as being Offline. But, the laptop, man.
Both have the Linksys software and printer drivers loaded.
Laptop is XP Home, desktop is XP Pro.

I assume physical printer connection is USB.
I suspect it is the "Home edition" XP that is at fault but am not absolutely certain. I know that some things that are easy on XP Professional are impossible, intermittent or difficult on XP Home edition. M$ can charge more for Pro version for this reason.
