Hi everyone

new member who is  computer illiterate asking for info.

I have a Dell Dimension E521.

I would like to connect my hdtv to my computer to watch films from the computer on the tv.

simple eh. well i bought sound cable and 2 mtr vga cable, connected up, nothing.

tried my laptop, perfect. tried the e521 again, connected, colour naf though.

next day tried again, connected poor sound then it went off, no connection.

now am i right in thinking that the onboard graphics card is not good enough?

if this is correct what graphics card do i install to do the job?

i have looked on ebay and NVIDIA but i do not know what i am looking for and if it will work with the E521.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
