Hi All,

I appear to be having some really strange problems with 3050 and 3060 desktops. I have approximately 650x 3050's and 100x 3060's.

Issue 1

Randomly some 3050's/3060's appear to lock up when a reboot script is ran @ 230am in the morning. The machine sits at the login screen, lit up showing the exact time of 230am. The only way to get it to respond is to power off holding the power button in for 10 seconds. Oddly enough, this was a batch I got delivered after the rest. All other machines on site reboot without issues.

Issue 2

I have an issue with 3050's (I reckon over 100 of them) sitting at a blank screen, screen on but completely black with a signal, no amount of moving the mouse or pressing the keyboard will wake them. If you turn the monitor off and back on, a black screen with the cursor appears as if I've almost woke the video card up... again, this requires a hard reboot.

Issue 3

Some machines will go into random sleep modes. For EG, for 80% of the site, if a user CTRL ALT DELETES and locks the machine, the PC will sit for 5 minutes until the display turns off. Others go to sleep quite literally seconds after the user has locked their PC. This then causes problems when they return as essentially everything has timed out and it's like they're waking the machine again from scratch making them lose everything they had open, 9 times out of 10, you can't wake the machine without a hard power off. This makes no sense as it's a site wide policy for power management and the machines have been re-built twice.

This is causing massive issues for me and the site.

I have tried a bios update and graphics update on these machines and the issues persist. I've also rebuilt a few of them to test if it was build related but still face the same issues.

 

Any help or guidance you can give me on this would be awesomely appreciated.
