390, CPU upgrade, Gpu Upgrade
I game in my optiplex, but things are getting too heavy for it (low framerates, Lag) the pc is just showing its age. i was thinking for an upgrade an i5, and somewhere around a 1050.

Optiplex 390 Tech Guide
Not as many upgrade options for the 390. It's not really a gaming machine, but it's still upgradeable.
For an I5, it can take Intel® Core™ i5 2400 / 3.10GHz, 6M, VT-x, 95W
Hardly anything in the tech guide for GPU's. Userbuilds can be tested at userbenchmark.com. You might have to go in from Google with a configuration, like "Optiplex 390 MT GTX 1050 userbenchmark," for example, and go from there.
Tip: In the tech guide, I had to use "processor" instead of "CPU" for the search term.
The size of your 390 isn't mentioned. "MT" above is just an example.
