Controlling power remotely
Is there any way I can control the power on this remotely? I use it as a media centre and so I don't have a keyboard and mouse set up for it. Just wondering if there is compatibility with any usb devices that can interact with a TV remote to power up and shut down when needed as having it on consumes a fair amount of juice.

There's one option of controlling it via network using AMT functionality (even when it's in an off state)
And another is connecting it to IR/RF (infra-red/radio frequency) remote control device of your choice.
Optiplex motherboards often do have another connector right next to ones the power button is hooked into specifically saying it's for remote-control.
