DELL Optiplex 7010 Micro Plus Overheating work-around!
As an IT Intern, for the Dell Optiplex 7010 Micro Plus Intel i5 13500, the CPU overheating was at over 179 degrees Fahreheit (80 degrees Celsius) and my fix for this was new high-end Thermal Paste (in my case, Noctura Thermal paste) and temps dropped and went to an idle 132-138 degrees Fahreheit (59 degrees Celsius). If you add a small inexpensive usb desk fan, the idle temps will drop to a whopping 116 degrees Fahrenheit (47 degrees Celsius) and this will still be more quiet than overriding the fan via UEFI/BIOS which also works, but is extremely loud and bothersome for a business environment. Hope it helps.
