- I just have a quick question for someone more knowledgeable than myself. I’m going to be getting an optiplex 3010 for free sometime in the near future and I want to add more ram. I’ve seen other posts on the subject and everyone seems to be saying to get ram without xmp. My question is, what is xmp, and how do you know whether the ram has it or not?
