Hello! I have a PE1900 with one Xeon Woodcrest 5110 1.6Ghz and I would like to add a second one. Do I have to stick with Dell for this or can I purchase the Intel 5110 from someone else? Yes, there is about a $200 price difference between Dell and say Newegg for the processor. I am not sure if the Dell Intel 5110 is proprietary or not.

 

If I can purchase elsewhere I am noticing that there are two different 5110's. One is  BX805565110P Passive 2U processor and the other is the BX805565110A 1U Active processor. Can anyone tell me which one I would need?
