PowerEdge 2550 Blinking Amber System Status

Hi

On my poweredge 2550 server the system status lamp is blinking amber. My OpenManage System Administrator doesn't show me any error, but I have problems to read any cd rom in my drive. A mount of /mnt/cdrom works very slowly and ends often with an error. But I don't know if it is the scsi controller or the cd drive. Any suggestions?

    Try running the Log2Text utility to clear the ESM log.  If you've got OMSA, you can try clearing the log in there, if that doesn't work, I'd try using this utility.  Does this work?
