Poweredge 4300 Problems

I have a Poweredge 4300 that keeps filling up the event log with messages regarding the current with the power supplies.  I have checked the powersupplies and all three are functioning properly.  There are not obvious errors with the server.  I have replaced the power supply just for the heck of it and still I get the errors.  I decided to upgrade the firmware on the ESM and even after updating to the latest version I still have the problem.  Any body have any idea?

    There may be a problem with the System power supply paralleling board (PSPB) however before you start replacing anything else
    what are all your Bios and F/W levels at ?
    Are you running Dell Openmange Server Administrator?

    Thanks for your reply.  I have updated all the firmware on ESM as well as the system BIOS.  That did not fix the errors.  I do have the Open Manage Admistrator installed and running and monitor it constantly, the logs show power supply failures that come and go away all day long. 
     
    On a good note, I may have found a fix for this problem.  I downloaded the latest inf for the backplane and updated the OS with the latest file.  So far the server has not reported any more power supply problems and that was 4 days ago.  I will just wait and see.  Thank you for your help.

    Where can I download the

    Backplane and paralleling firmware?

    I haven't been able to find it specifically?

    After some time has passed now, I have found that the inf has fixed the issue.  I hope it fixes any of your problems.  If that does not fix your problems.  Email me at Dbowers3@Comcast.net and I will work with you on your issues.  Thanks and have a great day.

    Label and number the power supplys.

    Then Remove them and put them back 3 times in different slots.

    The contacts on the power supply connections get corroded and tell you the supply is bad.

    DO THIS WITH NO POWER ATTACHED to the supplys.

    Just poke them in and out to clean the contacts.

    make 123 321 then 312 then 213 then put back to 123.

    Thank you for your advice.  I will switch the power supplys the next time I am next to the server.  But I also replaced the power supplies completely.  As I have three extras.  Unfortunately that did not fix the problem.  I was thinking the same thing originally when I first saw the problem.  Have a great day.
