Poweredge T310 server won't turn on

Hi all,

I have a old and without warranty anymore Dell PowerEdge T310 server that turned itself off a few days ago, and now it doesn't power on!

It also as a flashing amber light on the control panel (without LCD) and noting else. It has two redundant PSU's and both have the green light on, the motherboard has a green light on also, but when i press the power button nothing happens except that amber light flashing. Already removed everything i could, swapped PSU's, removed BIOS battery and it never does anything! Could it be the power button? Or motherboard?

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hi,thanks for the reply.

Already tried all that with no success, no message is displayed anywhere (this T310 doesn't have LCD, only leds). Power suplies have green light lit, motherboard has a green led lit, but nothing happens when i press the power button :(

Done also... is there anyway to force to power on without the power button? Just to check if it isn't damaged? If it's not the button it can only be the motherboard, i can't see anything else :(

No luck, tried everything and no signs of power :(

Although now i know that the amber blinking light is only the chassis intrusion alarm, if i press the switch, no more amber light.

It's really strange that nothing happens when i press the power button.
