    Thanks for the update

Can you tell me how to update using iDRAC?

Is there any downtime with this update?

    Hello

The firmware download was available on the Qlogic site, but it looks like they have removed it several of the downloads.

    Have you tried: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=JMGYY

It is listed as compatible with 2460 and 2462, but in the fixes and enhancements it lists the QME2472. It could just be an issue of bad documentation. There is a check that takes place when the installer runs, so if it doesn't support your mezzanine it should not run the install.

    Thanks

I'm not sure what password you are being prompted for. You can review the User's Guide on the page I linked for the user/pass. The root account is root/dell. That is the only user/pass I can think of. If that doesn't work then let me know what you did to get the prompt, and what is on the screen asking for the password.

    Thanks

    • SUU: Server Update Utility is an application for identifying and applying updates to your Dell PowerEdge system or to view the updates available for any system supported by SUU.

What are the steps to run the SUU once im in the linux live boot disk?
