Hardware RAID Disk Swap

I need some advice.... I have 19 Poweredge R330 servers with hardware RAID 1 controller (PERC H330).  I have 1 set of HDD's configured as needed.  What is the best way to use use these across all systems.

1.)  Use cloning tool like Acronis

2.)  Hot Swap HDD's so I can copy configuration through all 19 servers

or is there a better option?

Thanks,

Billy D.

    Hello

It would depend on what exactly you are trying to copy between all of the servers. We have centralized management software that has deployment options available. I suggest reading up on OpenManage Enterprise.

I want to replicate exact setup on the original HDD's across all systems.

Thanks for the articles, I will give them a look!

Ideally, you would probably want to use a custom deployment image. If additional software that is not included in the image needs to be managed/deployed then a centralized software management system would be best. Our tools can help with configuring the hardware. You can copy all of the hardware settings from one server and export the settings to another.
