I have a production PowerEdge 2650 and a similarly-configured standby PE2650.

If the production machine suddenly becomes not viable (for example, a system board failure) under what circumstances can I pull the RAID drives out of production and put them into the standby machine so I can get things up and running again?  I am trying to find a faster way to recover from a major system error so I don't have to tear down the production machine and replace the board.

PowerEdge 2650 servers have PERC 3/Di.
