Open Array Manager v3.6 bug?
All,
Got 3 identical PE2850s with PERC 4 e/Di cards handling a RAID 5 array with hot spinning spare. Symptoms are that on all three of them, completely independently, drive 3 of the array goes offline. Rebuild is succesful if done manually and consistency check runs A OK. Now then, I am speculating that the chances of the same drive on three totally independent, unrelated servers is less than that of winning the lottery twice. We are running Array manager version 3.6.x and I notice that there is a version 3.7 in the wild. Anyone had any similar experiences of this and do we know if version 3.7 could fix what I am pretty sure must be a software bug?
