MDSM Documentation
I'm considering recommending the purchase of a ME5212 storage array, however I need documentation regarding the security aspects and configuration so I can get clearance from my IT Security team.

There is no MDSM for the PowerVault ME4/5. The MDSM was for MD3.
Dell use Powervault as name for that category but the OEM behind the storage product changed in the last 20 years a couple of times.

The current one is the Dothill one and each Controller offer a HTML Based GUI so no external Software is needed any more. As normal such GUI uses SSL on port 443 for the commandline guys there is SSH.
