Hi, I have a Dell T7820 with the following configuration :
CPU : Xeon Gold 6148 C:\ Boot Drive : Intel P4500 (U.2) 2TB D:\ Data drive : 02 x 8TB 3.5" SATA (configured as Raid 1)
I just upgraded to Windows 11 Pro for Workstation. In the Device Manager, I can see that the Disk is listed as Intel Raid 1 Volume.
When I go to download the driver (Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-Enterprise-Driver_22P84_WIN_7.0.2.1015_A12.EXE), the driver is installed. Unfortunately, the Intel User-Interface is not installed. The RST software for User-Interface is also not listed in the Win11 Programs and Features.
I went to Intel Website and download SetupRST (19.2.0.1003), but fails to install and it throws an error that "the setup programme ended prematurely.
How can I view the status of the Raid1, so that I can replace the faulty harddisk in event of a failure ?
The following applications are being EOL’d (end-of-life). They will no longer be available starting with Intel® RST version 18.0 currently targeted for release in Q2 2020:
Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) User Interface (SetupRST.exe)
Intel® Optane™ Memory User Interface (SetupOptaneMemory.exe)
The Intel® Optane™ Memory and Storage Management Hardware Support Application will continue to be available from the Microsoft Store* to deliver monitoring and management capabilities for the Intel® RST storage subsystem. Note: The Intel® RST Driver is required to be installed before installing the application.
I'm unable to offer help, but, if possible, I would have a curiosity. When you upgraded, which version of Intel RSTe driver did you have installed on win10 (that is, if you by chance remember) ? ( Since is a step i will take sooner or later, too, I am just evaluating if upgrading the rste driver to 7.0.2 while on windows 10 prior to upgrading, or if upgrading to 6.2.2 would be enough - I am on an older version now )
1st, I tried installing Intel Optane Memory and Storage Management. When I tried to open the application, it throws an error 0XA00906B3 which seems to indicate that the RstMwRpc service is not running. However, I cannot find the RstMwRpc in the services.msc at all.
2ndly, I tried installing INTEL RST 17.9.6.1019, it says “the setup program ended prematurely” and unable to continue with the installation.
Despite in getting in any success, I am grateful and thankful for your guidance.

Hi 3Zinc, you are a saviour.
The RST driver you provided works and the user interface now appears.
