Go to SolutionLED blinking 1,4 in Precision 7750
Hi, does someone knows what's the reason my laptop is blinking the LED 1 white 4 Amber?
When this happens windows gets really slow and irresponsive, and if it's not connected to an outlet the computers just shut off.
Computer is not mine but for the company I work for, I took it once to the IT support and they said they would change the motherboard which I guess they did it because it worked fine for some time but then again issue is present.

You're right and I'm planning to take it back to IT support. But as I said, they already "fixed it" once and it's happening again, so I just want to understand what the issue might be.

A bit strange since CPU problems are very rare but do happen. When you find out please post here on the forum.

That blink code as shown here, indicates a CPU configuration or failure problem. If so and since the system is a corporate owned unit, take it back to IT for their assistance. You do not want to be tinkering with a system that is the property of your employer.
I remember when my job required a laptop which was company provided and they frowned heavily on anyone that tried to self diagnose, repair, or make any changes to their laptops.
