Precision 5520 (XPS 15) otherboard replacement enable management engine

Hi, I recently replaced the motherboard in a Precision 5520 which has a Xeon E3-1505M. When I first boot the computer it asks to set the AMT options. I don't know if the original configuration had the management engine enabled or now (no sticker on bottom cover). Is it safe to selection option 1 which I believe enables the management engine? I'd prefer to enable if possible.
The options are:
1) AMT_DASH_VPRO_or_SMA
3) MANAGEABILITY ENGINE (ME) DISABLED
6) MANAGEABILITY ENGINE (ME) LOCKOUT
7) NON_VPRO

@americanjim if you still require support on this issue, the Intel AMT sticker should be on the inside of the bottom cover.

You mentioned that there was no sticker on the bottom cover - does this mean you removed it and checked the inside of it?

The only other way to check the information would be to check the order details using the service tag. If you type your service tag into the support site and then check your current configuration. Scroll down until you see the following information

The last part that says "label AMT/VPRO 1" tells me that my system is set to option 1. Whatever your system says 1,3,6,7 that's what you choose.

    I hope this helps.

Unfortunately, the bottom cover has no sticker since it was replaced before I got it along with the motherboard and a few other components after some damage.

Since I don't have this info, is it fine to select option 1 to enable the management engine I would prefer?

@americanjim i'll drop you a private message for your service tag and can provide the setting you need.

Hi @Dell-Alan D sorry to pick up on old post, but I am in similar situation, just replaced mother board on xps 15 9575 and although I have ST and Ex the support site doesn't give me any config options

I have a white sticker in the bottom cover mine but I can't really make sense of it as in which option to select.

Would you be able to help?

    Many thanks Steve
