Problems with Dell Precision Optimizer on my Dell 7730
When I have new installed an operating system on the machine the Dell Precision Optimizer runs fine. I can add up to five additional applications to be analyzed by the Optimizer-AI.
As soon as I modify one of the five applications (remove them and try to place a new application in the optimizer a screen pops up and tells me that the software searches for available applications. But nothing else happens further. I just can cancel the process but then the profiles get not adjusted.
Have you ever seen this effect before? Do you have a solution which bypasses this error situaton?
Kind regards

Looks like I found something. I reinstalled my machine once again and started the extended area with learning three applications, not five as before. The machine has 32 GB RAM, maybe this is the reason that I should give the optimizer process some more calculating space.
The first application is finished now (Microsoft Edge). I could export the profile, it disappeared from the list, left the two other application. I could add the next application and the learning process has also started for it.
The browser seems to operate faster than in earlier installations.
I will see if some of the applications which had issues are going to operate more smoothly.

Even a reinstallation of the application doesn't help. The application simply does'nt work properly after it has once been installed. But as soon as I modify some of the settings the application gets stuck.
Do you need more informations to analyze this?

Correction:
The Precision optimizer works properly after a fresh operating system installation. I can also set five applications for additional optimization.
But if I remove one of them the free space can not be used for another application. The collection of available programs doesn't finish even if I let it run for several hours.
When I remove the complete Precision optimizer installation also the entries in the registry and the Dell PPO-settings in the user profiles are removed. So far everything looks fine, but I don't get the application working again like after a fresh operating system installation.
Are there additional settings stored somewhere which could be resetted to make it work again?

My main target is that I would like to add Adobe Acrobat to the list of optimized profiles. In the basic list there are already some Adobe profiles available but not for all applications of the Creative Cloud.
