720 Photo Printer cable
I bought a 720 photo printer from an individual. It didn't have a cable to connect it to the computer. I bought a universal cable with USB male A and male B plugs. My computer doesn't seem to recognize the printer. It this the right cable or does Dell use a different type of cable? Thank you.

First, a cable such as THIS is the right one. If that is what you bought then it should work.
However, the printer must be installed correctly. You must FIRST run the installation setup for your Operating System (e.g. if you have Windows XP then you need the Windows XP installation software, if you have Vista then you need Vista installation software) and ONLY connect the unit to the PC when the install program tells you. If you just connect the unit to the PC it will, in most cases not find any drivers and not install.
If you have a MAC, the Printer is not MAC compatible. You should always include your PC model number and Operating System on any initial problem report so we know exactly what we are dealing with instead of having to guess or just give general suggestions.
