a940 all in one printer

:emotion-43:   Ok...so the printer is mis-feeding paper...my solution was to buy a small printer for printing stuff...BUT, this a940 printer has other functions that still work that I would still love to use...NOW, That we've recently moved, I can't find any of the cords to it...power cord and connecter that goes to the pc...DOES ANYONE know where I can purchase replacements for my A940 Dell all  in one printer...You're help will be greatly appreciated...thank you

    dsoliz,

I looked at Dell's website and couldn't find anything. I suggest you try calling 1-800-449-3355 and ask them. They may have something that's not listed.

dsoliz, my A940 printer is doing the same thing.  It will not feed the paper down in order to print.  I am curious if you were able to find replacement parts and/or fix this problem.  I am looking foward to your response.

    psli,

Start, run, type msconfig and hit enter.

Startup. Look at what's starting and disable anything you don't need at startup.

    Paul,

Sometimes that patch removes a few extra Dell items. If this is a laptop, please check to make sure you have Dell QuickSet.

    Paul,

Did the printer install for you?

Are you missing any programs, that you noticed?

Dell QuickSet is only for Laptops, so you ok with that.

Do you use Dell Support? Is this missing, too?

Most of the programs that the patch for my printer removed were all Dell programs and were availavle from Drivers & Downloads by entering your service tag number.
