all in one Dell v313w

I am running on a studio 15 dell laptop Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, and have the dell all in one printer v313w about 2yrs old everything is connected wirelessly using a router. my printer responds slowly when I initiate a print and  during printing, especially when I do pictures. Many times it begins printing pauses, begins, pauses, etc. What can I do for a faster smoother printing experience?

    mjnix,

For photos, using at least 300 dpi gives the picture a better quality. If the file gets too big, then it's possible to see the print pause. Not sure if that's what you're seeing or not.

Example: I have an Excel file. I decided to add an image to the 38 pages(same image). Now when I print, it prints, then pauses, but it finishes the print job with no problems.

Thank you for your response. I realize having an image in my file would slow the printing, but if I print anything it is slow and pauses and starts and pauses....

    mjnix,

How much RAM is on your computer. In most cases, the print job is spooled on the computer and sent.
