Dell 1320c Laser Printer Problem (WiFi / Network)

Last year I purchased a refurbished 1320c laser printer.  The model I purchased had the integrated networking (not the add-on).  I love the printer, but I've been dealing with a very frustrating problem ever since I bought it.  The printer stops working every day and has to be manually reinstalled.  The reinstall will usually last about a day and then it needs to be repeated.

My house has four Dell laptops, all using versions of Windows 7.  We have one Gateway laptop using Windows Vista.  Until last week, we had a Dell desktop hooked up which used Windows Vista.  Each computer recognizes the printer as a network printer.  It just stop printing randomly after about a day.

Here's what I do each time the printer stops working in order to fix the problem:

Devices and Printers

Remove Device

Add a Printer

Network Printer

Select 1320c once it appears

Select Driver

Normally I select "Use uriver that is currently installed (recommended)," but I've also tried "Replace the current driver."  Either option works.

Sometimes I change the printer name...sometimes I leave it the same.  Both options work.

Usually I click "Do not share this printer," but I've tried to share it too on occasion.

Finish

This process only takes about a minute and it gets the printer working every time, but it's very frustrating to have to do this every day.  I've looked into every possible setting and I just can't figure out why the printer stops printing after 12-24 hours.  Once it stops working, the lights on the printer don't turn green at all.  It stays orange until I remove the device and reinstall it.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

I'm not sure if this is relevant or helps, but my wireless setup is as follows:

Comcast cable line is connected to the cable modem.  Cable modem is connected to a  Linksys WRT610N Router (I experienced the same problem with this printer when I was using a Netgear router).  The 1320c is connected to the router via Ethernet cable.  NOTHING else is connected to this router at the moment, since all of the other devices we use are WiFi-enabled.  NONE of the other devices in the house ever lose connection...only this printer.

Wow, I wish someone could answer this question. I have the exact same issue, though my printer will last longer. It is frustrating though. My theory is that the IP address keeps getting reassigned. I know it's the same old issue when the printer shows up in the Windows control panel as "offline."
