Dell C2660dn Paper Jam - 050-121
The printer has syopped taking paper from Tray 1. There was actually a paper jam, which after a lot of searching we seem to have removed it all. But now the paper seems to be picked up and taken in to the printer 3-4 cms but thats as far as it goes. I have replaced the pickup rollers and i have tried all of the troubleshooting tips plus the steps in SLN287099 "Running CE Mode (Diagnostic Mode) on the C2660dn / C2665dnf / C3760n / C3760dn / C3765dnf Dell Laser Printers, and the paper still doesnt feed through using the diagnostics. the manual paper feed tray still works fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what can be wrong? i have never had any problems before.

I think that you will need to review the Clearing Jams and Troubleshooting section of the C2660dn User's Guide.

I had the exact same problem with a C2665dnf. Then eventually I found this link: https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/sln296772/how-to-troubleshoot-the-050-11x-050-12x-071-100-072-10x-075-100-and-077-10x-paper-jam-errors-on-the-c2660-c2665-c3760-c3765-dell-laser-printer?lang=en#Three
It suggested pulling out tray 1 (I pulled out the MPF multipurpose feeder also) and then turned my printer on its side. Only then could I notice the small piece of paper that had torn off inside my printer. I was able to remove it with tweezers.
I instruction manual suggested by the prior post didn't help. I had already gone through those suggestions.
Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for sharing this. Only by turning the printer on its side and using a flashlight did I find the tiny rumpled shred of paper up at the rear of the printer. Needle-nosed pliers did the trick.

Thank you!
"Turn it on it's side" worked to find the missing scrap of paper
C3765dnf working again
