Dell printer and Excel

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone ever encountered an issue where the user prints to their Dell printer and then it turned each cell into a seperate page.  Changing to a printer other than a Dell corrects the margins and prints fine.

I've seen this on a Dell 1700n and today an S2500 so I know it can't be a coincidence with Dell printers or Excel.  This problem doesn't happen with any other network printer.  Both are attached via USB to the user's computer.

Thanks,

    Never heard of this before.

Do any other Apps produce strange print results? i.e., is it ONLY Excel doing this?

Printers are basically a GIGO (Garbage-In, Garbage-Out) device. The only time they do anything differenrt with the data stream is if a control code is sent that causes the printer to do something special, like say, "change font size".

If none of the other Apps cause the printer to do something equally as weird, you need to look a lot closer at how that Excel doc is formatted when the 1700 or 2500 is selected as your print device.
