How do you connect the Dell 3110cn color laser printer to operate with a Apple MAC desktop computer? Are drivers needed? How/where can I get the drivers needed?

You will need drivers for the printer. Dell has them here:
http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/format.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&deviceid=9510&libid=40&releaseid=R144508&vercnt=2&formatcnt=0&SystemID=PRN_LSR_3110CN&servicetag=&os=MAC1&osl=en&catid=-1&impid=-1
The Lexmark C530 is the same printer (Dell sells rebadged Lexmark and Samsung printers) - you can try Lexmark for drivers as well.

The 3110cn printer is not made by Lexmark. It was "designed for Dell" by Fuji-Xerox.
