dell v313 printhead issues
I just installed a new v313 printer and during the set up after installing the printhead i couldn't get it to reset to the position to install the ink cartridges. When the printhead is out the carrier moves to the correct position, after putting in the printhead in the carrier would only lock itself into the far left. The display screen says to open the cover and install cartridges, but the carrier won't move to a position that I can install them.

You can install the cartridges in the far left position. If you want to insert the cartridges in the middle, click on setup, look for matainence, then click on change printhead, this will bring the printhead to the center position.

Pay close attention to step 5 in reseat the ink cartridges...
Insert the ink cartridge. Using two hands, slide the front end of the cartridge into the printhead and then press down on the back of the cartridge until you feel the cartridge click into place
