Printer 942 - Cleaning nozzles not working
I have a Dell 942 Printer. My first printing of a photo, on plain paper, showed horizontal lines (actually more like 1/8" bands). I tried cleaning the print nozzles using the Printer Solution Center. After cleaning, the magenta and yellow bands looked great, the black bands were okay, but every cyan band had a white streak through it. After repeated cleaning processes, there was absolutely no improvement in the cyan bands, every one having a horizontal white streak at the same exact location on the band. I finally gave up before I completely emptied the cartridges without even getting to use the printer.
So is this a problem with the print head(s)?
I would imagine that each approximate 1/4" color band requires several passes to complete and, therefore, I would assume that the print heads are okay since the white streak only shows up once on each cyan band (about 1/4 way down from the top of the band and roughly 1/32" thick).

Also, photos will not print well on plain printing paper and can sometimes leave thin white lines.
