If you go printer webserver by typing its IP address in the webbrowser, you can rest it there.

The real problem is that the actual printer' IP Address is 0.0.0.0 so I can´t access by web. I have the MAC address but if I try to use this address to find it (with the utility) it returns an error message (no comunication with the print server).

If I print the configuration, the status of the standar network card is conected. TCP/IP is active. DHCP disabled, AutoIP NO, Address source Manual, IP Address 0.0.0.0 Netmask: 255.255.255.0 Gateway 0.0.0.0 Wins status unregistered.

I "only" have to return DHCP enabled but i don´t know how without web access

Thanks a lot for any help.

Please contact local DELL support and ask them on how to perform restoring factory defaults on Network card or NVRAM reset. They should be able to give you this information.

    Thanks d3sp.

The first time I called to Dell support they told me that 1700N could not be reset to factory default values. I have recall again and another technical person told me the "recipe".......

If someone have the same problem here is the method to reset this printer.

You must turn off the printer. Open the front door (as if you go to change the toner) and then turn on with both bottons "continue" an "cancel" press down and wait for the light "ERROR" on. Then you must close front door and turn off the printer. When you turn on again, you have the printer with "factory defaults".......

    Thanks again.
