Wireless printing

OK, I am venturing into uncharted territory. Next week I will be installing wireless at my home. Shortly after that fight I would like to make my printer wireless - you know, sit anywhere in the house with the trusty laptop -  hit print - and it prints!  What device do I need? I have the Dell A940 with the USB connection. Thanks.

The A940 will not work standalone only hooked to a print server.  You have to have it hooked to a computer (ie your desktop) and have it shared.  ONLY install the software on that main system.

Then on your laptop, add a network printer, and when you pick the A940 on your desktop it will automatically install the appropriate software on your laptop.

I have that type of setup.  My desktop is on 24/7, and with my wireless laptop I can print from anywhere from the house.
