abach: creating a find and insert comment for MS Excel
Abach:
A few months ago you created a command for MS Word for me. The command allowed me to search for a word within a document, and everytime it finds that particular word it inserts a comment.
Is there a way I could do this in Excel too?
Thanks very much in advance

Is there going to be only one word in each cell, or are you going to have a phrase (2 or more words) in each cell? Also, do you want to match a whole word, any part of a word, or words beginning with certain letters?
There is only one word per cell, and I want to match whole words.
For instance, I would like to be able to do a search in an entire workbook for the word "hard drive" and have a comment inserted each time this word is found containing the definition.
I've created the worksheet that will accomplish what you want. Email me at
abach@absupportweb.com and I'll send it to you. If I get a chance, I'll post it on my website also.
