Outlook Express - setting the reply account problem
My partner and I each have a mail account in Outlook Express, mine in the default. When I reply to an email, the non-default account goes on as the Reply account, so my name doesn't go with the reply unless I do it by hand, and as I work with email all day, I can overlook to set it, so my recipient doesn't see my name on the reply. I've no idea why Outlook Express does this or how to fix it.
Outlook Express is not part of MS Office, it's part of the Operating System and such shuould have been posted on your Operating System section of the forum.
However, it's using the default account information. Outlook, does the same thing. No way to get around it, that I've found. If the account you want to send the e-mail "from" is not the default account info you will have to manually set the from for each message.

According to the Outlook Help file, the "name" that is set in the account is what is defaulted to when messages are composed, from the default account. Doublecheck the account setups in case something was missed or is the same in both of them.

The strange thing is that when I compose a new message, the default (my) name invariably goes on as the 'From' name. It's only with replies that picks up the other account name. I've checked Tools/Accounts/Properties/General, and there are no details common to the two accounts.
If it were behaving itself, OE would use the To name as the From name. In case I'm fooling myself I've just tried it again. A mail has come to me, Mr Default Account, the reply is set as from my partner, who has the non-default account. Oh no, I'm beginning to take a perverse pleasure of out batting all these valued replies away, as if to say 'Well my Outlook Express is different from your Outlook Express'.
