Outlook Express

Have just received my Dimension 8300 and am having trouble with Outlook Express

  1. When I bring up Outlook Express it cuts my connection line
  2. Dial up connections/settings/connections - why is 'choose settings' greyed out?

Have never had these problems before - help

Please post your question on the Windows XP section of the forum.  Outlook Express is part of the Operating System.  It is NOT an MS Office application (this forum section).

When you post questions, try to get them on the most appropriate forum section - it will usually speed up resolvement.

Many thanks fireberd for putting me straight, have done.  I only posted it here as I saw Outlook Express in the subject matter.

There are many that post in the wrong forum sections.  Some just post in whatever forum section they happen to access,  others assume that certain applications are part of, for example MS Office, and post there, etc.  But, because someone else also posted in the wrong section doesn't make it right.

A little "homework" on the forum usually helps users to post in the most appropriate forum section.
