Table border

Hello can anyone help me? My MS word messed up. I created a table and choose "none" border, then the table should give me a "grey" border, but it gives me no border at all. I meant it is not exactly grey but it is something that you can keep track of. Is there a way to solve that problem? If not, how can I got a new .doc file to replace this old one?

Put cursor anywhere within the table and select Table>Show gridlines on the toolbar. You'll see gridlines around the table in View>Normal or View>Print Layout mode but you won't see them in Print>Preview mode or when the table is actually printed.
