So I played around with it and found that in 1:1 ratio I get a pretty clear quality. It's not perfect but I can look at it for more than 10 minutes without getting a headache. Now is it the s-video cable that is keeping the 4:3 ratio from being clear. I wanna get the clarity at least as good as I have it now using 4:3. Which cable should I use and keep in mind the projector is mounted about 20ft from the PC.

I had the same problem until I adjusted the focus to the point that the lense fell out. when I put it back in it worked. Maybe the lense was knocked goofy in shipping.   I did notice that when I use the zoom lever that it can not be focused. only one combination of zoom and focus will work. All else is determined by projector location.

I figured it out. If you want crystal clear quality use a monitor cable. The Svideo cable just doesn't cut it. Thanks for the help.
