Go to SolutionPowerEdge R730 No POST, No Power, LCD Blue
I have an R730 server which was working fine, but suddenly stopped powering up. When I turn on the system doesn’t power up, no POST, LCD keeps flickering in blue color with no text on it. There is no light on power switch either.
Both power supplies are fine, checked with a working R730. Pulled RAM, still not giving any clue.
Any help is highly appreciated.

I would also suggest checking the idrac. if you have configured the idrac in the past, see if you can still ping the IP address and check to see if the dedicated idrac port has link (assuming its at Enterprise idrac). The normal no post/no power steps are to remove/swap as much hardware as possible, power supply, nics, integrated nic, riser cards, ram, proc(s), cmos battery, fans, cables. see if the light on the power button ever comes on, or if the lcd display shows any text, even error messages. I personally would try taking out one or both cpu's if you cant swap out the front panel board as Daniel suggested. I've only ever seen 1 or 2 panels go bad, but its always possible.

I think both the power button and LCD are part of the control panel assembly. If you have another R730 to swap with you might try swapping the control panel. You can also try swapping the cable for testing purposes.
