Hi,when i install a EMC Cluster enabler Manager at the end, we need to write a RecoverPoint Access Settings with an IP address (RPA), user, "plugin" and password "plugin" but fails "failed to updated credentials" please try again. the user and passw are correct because from CLI I can access. but from servers not.. Have any Idea?
Can you check that the host has a network path to the RPAs? Also, can you check the log of CE on the host (should be in the "c:\program files\emc" vicinity) and post the error?
yes, one of my problems was solved. We can not "connected" validate because a permissions issues with "UAC" on Windows 2008.
Other thing it´s, that we can not pass the device to the other host on the other site.
on the same cluster, all seems ok from one side (site 1). We can change a failover between nodes on the same site. but we cannot communicate it (do it a failover operations) to the remote site
It depends where the problem is. When you fail over to the other side, RecoverPoint should first do a failover on the consistency group, for the resource to come up. Did that happen?
That tells me the problem is probably between the local node and local RPAs. The logs of CE should be in the Windows node, in the CE directory in Program Files. Can you check the logs there for an error? Also, did the CE console return any error when the failover failed?
